Craven Street Wealth Go the Distance for 21 Together!

A 21km charity walk raising a total of £4,695 for children and young people with Down’s syndrome.

On Friday 5th September, our amazing supporters from Craven Street Wealth laced up their walking shoes and took on an incredible 21km charity walk in support of 21 Together — and what a day it was!

The Craven Street team sported their own personalised T-shirts for the occasion, so definitely stood out as a team.

The walk started at The Hornby / Wonderworks building where we also run our speech and language classes.  The sun was shining, spirits were high, and the Craven Street Wealth team set off with energy and determination to raise vital funds for children and young people with Down’s syndrome. Along the scenic route, there were smiles, laughter, and even a few blisters — but nothing could dampen the team’s enthusiasm or commitment to the cause.

A much-welcomed break was had at the Broadstairs bandstand for fish and chips, where they were met by  Special guests Clive Stevens, Deputy Lord-Lieutenant of Kent, who completed the second part of  the walk with them , Julie Stichbury of 21 Together walked down with Mike Garner, Mayor of Broadstairs to show their support and cheer them on.

Thanks to their fantastic efforts and the generosity of their supporters, the team raised an incredible £4,695 to help 21 Together continue our mission of providing education, training, and support for children and families living with Down’s syndrome.

A huge thank you also goes to Frank Martin, Holly Barnett, and Hornby Hobbies Ltd for their warm hospitality during the walk.

Finally, an enormous thank you to the entire Craven Street Wealth team — By walking 21km and raising vital funds and awareness for 21 Together, you’ve helped ensure that children and young people with Down’s syndrome can continue to access life-changing opportunities, education, and support. 💛
