Professional Services and Outreach
Our Education Team is very experienced and highly qualified. We offer high quality support to schools, local authorities, healthcare providers and other professionals across a range of service areas
Services include:
Advice and support for teachers, staff and LSAs in schools
Ongoing monitoring, evaluation and support for children in mainstream and specialist settings
Makaton training
Support for SENCOs and other specialist staff
Recommendations on best practice and signposting for resources and additional support or services
We are also increasingly running joint projects with local authorities and other specialist providers. We take part in action research which demonstrates our place as a leader in educational and therapeutic services for children and young people with Down’s syndrome.
