Outreach Service

Outreach support can be accessed if your child attends 21 Together’s Direct Intervention Sessions.

Ellie and Trina, from our Education Team, can offer times to liaise with your child’s setting, providing Down’s syndrome-specific advice and information regarding ongoing targets at 21 Together.

21 Together will contact your child’s setting, if we have parental consent to do so, and ask if there are any areas they need support with.

All our support is given via email and Zoom meetings. School visits can be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

The Education and Community Support Team may be working with you on EHCP advice, inclusin, access to services, etc. and shared information between engaged services will assist in providing holistic support to your child. Engaged services may include, but is not limited to, speech and language therapists e.g. Symbol UK, specialist teachers e.g. Inclusively Down, occupational therapists or physiotherapists.
