What will the session cover?
If your child or young person has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), it must be reviewed at least once a year by the local authority (LA). These reviews ensure the plan stays up to date and continues to meet their needs. At the end of an annual review, the LA can decide to:
Maintain the EHCP as it is (no changes)
Amend the EHCP
Cease the EHCP if they believe it is no longer required

How to prepare and get the most out of the process
Common issues that arise with EHCPs and how to address them
When and how the contents of an EHCP can or should be appealed
