This course is open to anyone in KENT, who cares for and/or works directly with, a child or young person with Down’s syndrome. All particpants MUST have done Level One & Two to take this training and have the certificates.
Date: Wednesday 8th July
Time: 9:30am - 16:30pm | Arrive at 9:15am
Level 3 is for people who have completed level 2, you will cover Stages 5 and 6 (around 100 concepts), some deeper theory and start to develop your translation and interpretation skills an tackle longer pieces of information and conversations. You will also analyse signs in more depth. You will receive a manual that you take home, which costs £21. The manual contains course materials, all the signs and symbols you have learned and a certificate, remember to keep your certificates for further training.
The aims of the session are to:
Helps you to improve and develop your signing and symbol skills and how to use them effectively every day.

Learn a new skill to aid with communication
What to bring: You will need to bring lunch with you, some tea and coffee will be provided.
