Join us for an unforgettable day of fun, teamwork and fundraising at Chatham Maritime, as part of the Chatham Maritime Trust Annual Food & Drink Festival.
What to Expect
Dragon boat racing is one of the fastest-growing water sports in the UK – exciting, energetic and perfect for teams of all abilities. No experience is needed, as full training is provided on the day.
Each team will race in traditional 40-foot dragon boats, competing in up to three heats, with the fastest teams progressing to the grand final for ultimate bragging rights.

Fundraising
This event is all about making a difference. Participants are asked to fundraise in support of 21 Together as well as Medway Sunlight Rotary Club’s charitable work, helping local and international causes.
Our Team
Teams of up to 20 people (16 paddlers per race)
Open to all abilities (minimum age 14) - we welcome our young people with Down’s syndrome to join in, they can be a drummer if they don’t want to paddle!
The Day
Expect a fantastic atmosphere with live music, great food and drink, and thousands of spectators cheering you on. Entry to the festival and parking are free, making it a perfect day out for friends, family and supporters.
21 Together will have a Gazebo up for the team to meet and rest in, so if you’re just there for the music, make sure to come and say hello 👋🏻
