Preloved with Purpose - Our new charity shop is preparing to open

We’re excited to share that we now have a unit in The Mall Maidstone for our brand-new 21 Together charity shop! We’re hoping to open our doors in early October, creating a welcoming space for the local community while raising vital funds to support the work of 21 Together. We’re really looking forward to seeing the shop become a positive part of the community and bringing people together to support a cause that makes a real difference to families.

Can you volunteer?

Our biggest need right now is volunteers to help us run the shop. We’re looking for people who can spare some time between Monday and Saturday, 9:00am–3:30pm to help with serving customers, sorting donations, keeping the shop looking great and all the other things that go into making a charity shop work. You don’t need any retail experience — just some time, enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved! Whether you can offer a regular few hours or occasional support, we’d love to hear from you. Can you donate?

We’re also grateful for donations to help us stock the shop. We’re looking for good-quality, clean clothing and accessories, household items, small electricals, books, toys and games, and interesting curiosities and collectables. Please don’t donate broken, damaged or stained items, bedding or linens, bulky furniture, safety equipment, DVDs/CDs/VHS tapes or incomplete toys and games. Donations can be dropped off at our Maidstone Community Support Centre.
