Robin Smith

Robin joins the board of Trustees from with extensive experience working for charities across Kent.

Robin’s knowledge and skills will help make a positive impact to support the charity’s growth over the coming years.

“I am very excited and honoured to join the board of Trustees for 21 Together. A fabulous charity which is here to provide support for family members, carers, friends, and professionals supporting children and young people with Down’s syndrome. I very much mirrors the charities beliefs that everyone has the right to live their lives to the fullest of their potential. I am looking forward to helping 21 Together to grow and continue to provide its existing specialist services and provide new specialist services for the community to realise that potential. I am a fun, cheeky chappy who has nearly twenty years' experience working with different charities in Kent. Organising activities and mainly working with a wide variety of young people from a wide variety of backgrounds, cultures and with a wide range of complex needs. Additionally, I have worked with individuals who are seeking employment who have diagnosed disabilities or who require support to retain employment. I believe that any individual can achieve their dreams and goals if they have access to the right support. I look forward to meeting families, especially at the community days, and offer as much support and advice within the Board of Trustees for 21 Together as I can to help guide the charity to fully fulfil its ambitious growth goals.”
