National Lottery
Covid-19 hit our families hard, services (that were already thin on the ground) disappeared and many families are yet to see their support re-emerge.
We have welcomed so many new babies and their families into our community, but we are yet to meet them face-to-face! We are on a mission to change all that.
Just before Covid-19 hit (if anyone can remember that far back!), 21 Together were about to start a small scale early intervention service trial. The pandemic put pay to those sessions, but the 21 Together team simply couldn’t accept defeat!
We have been working hard behind the scenes, and we can now proudly announce, that with the support of a three-year grant from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are launching not only the trial but a full-scale service for children from birth to seven years of age! We are hoping to open the doors in September / October 2021, and we will be based out of the Maidstone office for those aged 2 and upwards. Venues for the 0-2 group are yet to be finalised, but they will be a central Kent location.
The funding will also help us to keep our training services open and to add more content to Teach Me Too!
Lots more information coming up, but we wanted to take a moment to thank The National Lottery Community Fund. It is their shared belief in the importance of early intervention for our children, and its life-changing impact, that has made this possible.
If you have a child between 0 - 7 who would benefit from this service simply register your interest via this quick form.
