Makaton Level One Training

This course is open to anyone in KENT, who cares for and/or works directly with, a child or young person with Down’s syndrome.
Date: Saturday November 15th
Time: 9:30am - 15:30pm | Arrive at 9:15am
Level 1 is open to everyone—no prior experience is required. You’ll cover Stages 1 and 2 along with about half of the additional vocabulary (around 125 concepts). The course also includes background information and an introduction to simple theory. You’ll receive a manual that you take home, which costs £21, and is included in our ticket price. The manual has all course materials, the signs and symbols you’ve learned, and a certificate upon completion, remember to keep your certificates for further training.

Pick up Makaton Level One
Learn a new skill to aid with communication
What to bring: You will need to bring lunch with you, some tea and coffee will be provided.
