Come and join our Christmas festivities!
Thanks to support from The National Lottery, we are hosting a Christmas Disco this December and would love for you to join us!
This is open to ANY family in Kent supporting a child/young person with Down’s syndrome.
There will be music to dance along to, party games to get involved with and a tuck shop, as well as a special visit from the big man himself who will be handing out gifts to all the children attending!
Siblings are more than welcome to join in the fun!
For any of our children/young people who need some time away from the festivities, we’ll have a sensory room with calming activities available until they feel ready to join in.
Date: Saturday 10th December 2022
Times:
3pm - 5pm (11 years and under) Music, games and entertainer included, as well as a gift from Father Christmas! A parent/carer must remain in the hall with children for the session and are responsible for them at all times. An additional parent/carer may attend a free wreath making class* in a separate room of the church whilst the disco is on - festive music and mince pies included!
6pm - 8pm (12 years+) DJ and games included, as well as a gift from Father Christmas! No parents/carers allowed - however you’re more than welcome to join us in a separate room in the church for a free wreath making class* (or just a chat with other adults!) while your young person is having fun at the disco - festive music and mince pies included!
*Wreath making spaces are limited and will be issued on a first come, first served basis. You must tell us on the form at checkout if you are intending to make a wreath and we will let you know if there are spaces remaining. If more than one member of a family would like to make a wreath, we would ask that a joint wreath is made to save spaces for more families.
Location: St Paul’s Church, Parkwood Green, Rainham, Kent ME8 9PN (Plenty of free parking available)
Cost: £10 per family. This includes everything besides the tuck shop. We will also have donation buckets in the wreath making room, should you wish to donate a little something for your wreath! Please note that we do have a Financial Support Policy available for any family that may find it difficult to meet the cost of the ticket - we would not want any of our young people to miss out! Just get in touch at info@21together.org.uk to enquire.
Please make sure you complete the form accurately at checkout so we are able to make sure Father Christmas has enough gifts, and we have enough resources for all those who are choosing to make wreaths!
