Are you feeling the pinch post-Christmas?
Join 21 Together as we work alongside Medway Citizen’s Advice Bureau to provide you with the latest advice on how to deal with unpaid bills and debts. This guidance applies to all residents of Kent, not just Medway & Swale.
We will be joined by two members of staff from Citizen’s Advice who will cover:
• Understanding some of the common causes of debt and how it can affect a person’s health.
• Identify the differences between a Budget and a Financial Statement and what information should be listed on both.
• The difference between Non–Priority and Priority debts, using common examples.
• Have a basic understanding of how to deal with unpaid bills and debts, including money saving tips & ways of increasing household incomes.
• Debt services available to Medway residents.
• Contacts and resources to develop further understanding of debt and money matters.
Medway Citizen’s Advice provide a wealth of support including Medway Foodbank Advice Service, pro bono solicitors, form filling service and finding out what benefits you are entitled to, as well as lots more. Come along and ask your questions!
