Summer Camp 2022

21 Together are excited to announce that Summer Camp 2022 is on!

Working with Symbol Connect UK to provide highly specialised speech therapy and communication skill-based workshops. These sessions are for children aged 4 - 25 years with Down’s syndrome (we group according to age). We have really high levels of interest in the sessions and we cannot guarantee that everyone will get a place - places are allocated using a mix of first come, first serve, as well as a need to balance the levels of support in the sessions. Places will be confirmed by the end of June 2022.

In association with BBC Children in Need , these workshops are for Kent-based children and young people, and those that currently access 21 Together services only.

DATE:

17th August - 19th August 2022 inclusive.

All dates must be attended.

TIME:

SOLD OUT Younger session (primary age): 9:30am - 12:30pm

FEW SPACES REMAINING Older session (11+): 11:30am - 3:00pm

Older children will be staying for lunch during this camp (they will need to bring a packed lunch).

Between 11:30am and 12:30pm, the children from both groups will be working together on a variety of activities. Following which, the younger group will go home and the older group will have lunch.

LOCATION:

Thanington Neighbourhood Resource Centre, Thanington Road, Canterbury, Kent CT1 3XE.

COST:

£30 per day (£90 for the 3 day camp) - the sessions are very highly subsidised by the charity with 21 Together covering over 70% of the cost of each place. All dates must be attended.
