Colette Lloyd is a speech and language therapist specialising in working with Down Syndrome, based in Oxfordshire. She has been teaching children with Down Syndrome to read for many years, and supporting parents and schools to do the same.
She is offering an evening session on Teaching Reading to Children with Down Syndrome, where she will explain some of the theory but more importantly the practicalities of doing this successfully.
Open to parents, but also to educators, so please let your schools know.
There will be opportunities for questions, but if you have a moment and could send specific queries beforehand, Colette will try to address them during the talk.
