Level 1 Makaton Training

Led by Helen Warren from More Than Words, hosted by 21 Together.

This course is open to anyone in KENT, who cares for and/or works directly with, a child or young person with Down’s syndrome.

Time: 9:30am - 4:30pm

Would you like to learn Level One Makaton? Join us for a practical workshop, where you will receive a manual and certificate on completion of the training.

The aims of the session are to:

• Provide a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme.

• Pick up Makaton Level One with no prior experience

• Learn a new skill to aid with communication

What to bring: You will need to bring lunch with you, some tea and coffee will be provided.

Cost: Parents/Carers - £10 Professionals £40
