Dental Care and Down’s syndrome:
How differences affect speech and breathing, and interventions that can help.
Delivered by Dr Leonette Rossouw and hosted by 21 Together via Zoom.
The course is aimed at children and young people with Down’s syndrome (of any age).
This training is for Kent-based families and professionals only.

We will be joined by Dr Leonette Rossouw, Practice Owner of the Leonette Rossouw Dental Practice.
Dr Leonette Rossouw is a highly qualified dentist with a wealth of experience and skills. Having started her first practice in 1998, her current practice in Seal has been a welcomed addition to the community and has grown to be very busy and successful; offering all disciplines of dentistry. Leonette, herself, practices orthopaedic orthodontics, which is a different school of thought than mainstream orthodontics. She prides herself on performing the highest quality of dentistry, in a caring relaxed environment; simultaneously being highly professional whilst the patient feels like a very dear and cared-for friend.
Dr Rossouw will be giving us a whistle-stop tour of the common orthodontic issues faced by children and young people with Down’s syndrome.
