WDSD 2020
Don’t despair, we can still celebrate!
Please share with your connections.
We may not be able to celebrate World Down’s Syndrome Day 2020 together this year, but we can still tell the world about our community.
Why not colour in these socks or design your own? Put them in your front window. Show the world you love someone with Down’s syndrome.
On Saturday 21st March pick out your best odd socks and share a picture on social media to show your support. Don’t forget to tag us in and use the # tags.
Send us your pictures on Facebook and Twitter and we will share them with the world. Let us see how many people we can reach!
You don’t need to have Down’s syndrome to get involved! Why not show your support for our community and get on board too. If you have children at home who would like to use these templates or design their own we would love to see your photos.
Why the odd socks?
Well, a chromosome looks a little like a sock and people with Down’s syndrome have an extra copy of the 21st chromosome. It’s a great way to open up conversations and help raise awareness.
Use the templates provided or use the headed blank sheet to design your own. Get them HERE
This is going to be a tough time for charities as well as families, so if you can afford to support us, so we can keep supporting them, then please head to the website where donation is super easy.
