Try Everything

21st March is World Down’s Syndrome Day 2022

This year the theme is ‘inclusion,’ so we got together with the community to find out what inclusion meant to them. Inclusion means something different to everyone! The one thing our families had in common was the desire to access the experiences they see other families doing every day. They wanted the community to see what their children could achieve and who they are as individuals. So this is what we came up with!

Inclusion means the chance to experience the same opportunities as your peers, the every day, and the extraordinary. It means all of us coming together to make experiences accessible and more importantly, we start with the expectation that people with Down’s syndrome can achieve their goals, with the right support.

This year we celebrate our communities’ achievements and resilience. When things get tough our families get back up and try again. Check out our community video (below) to celebrate the day.

Join us in celebrating #WDSD22 and our wonderful members, every one different, every one special in their own way. Why not share with your friends and family, so we can all celebrate their achievements together.

If you would like to support our community on this special day, we would really appreciate it. Every penny goes to giving our community the chance to ‘Try Everything!’
