John brings with him a wealth of experience and a profound passion for education, creativity, and community service, making him an ideal leader for our vibrant and ambitious organisation.

An Experienced Leader in Education and Charity

John Keeley’s journey spans over two decades of senior leadership in both the education and charity sectors. His extensive career reflects a steadfast commitment to fostering environments where young people can thrive. John’s expertise encompasses the establishment of new schools and the transformation of failing ones, alongside a significant impact on services for learners with diverse needs. His leadership roles have included CEO positions at two national charities, including the prestigious Blackheath Conservatoire.

At the Conservatoire, John’s vision dramatically expanded art, music, and drama outreach, positively impacting groups ranging from refugees to individuals living with Alzheimer’s and young people with Asperger’s and ASD. His background in music underscores his dedication to using the creative and performing arts as a means to support and enrich the lives of young people—a commitment that resonates deeply with 21 Together's mission.

John's words capture his commitment to the children, young adults, and families we support, and his vision for the future of 21 Together. His leadership is set to guide us through an exciting new chapter, building on the strong foundations laid by his predecessors.

Farewell to Jo Aiyathurai

As we welcome John, we also prepare to say goodbye to Jo Aiyathurai, our current manager, who will be leaving on July 31st. Jo's tenure at 21 Together has been marked by her unwavering dedication, compassion, and leadership. Her efforts have been instrumental in advancing our mission and expanding our reach within the community. Jo's impact on 21 Together is immeasurable, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude for her service and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
