Summer Camp 2023

Working with Symbol Connect UK to provide highly specialised speech therapy and communication skill-based workshops. These sessions are for Kent-based children aged 4 - 25 years with Down’s syndrome (we group according to age).

We have high levels of interest in the sessions and we cannot guarantee that everyone will get a place - places are allocated using a mix of first come, first served, as well as a need to balance the levels of support in the sessions. Places will be confirmed by the 16th of July 2023.

DATES:

16th August - 18th August 2023 inclusive.

All dates must be attended.

TIME:

Younger session (primary age): 09:30-12:00

Older session (11+): 13:00-15:30

LOCATION:

Hope View School,

Chilham,

CT4 8EG

COST:

£30 per day (£90 for the 3-day camp). All dates must be attended.

New for Summer 2023

For Camp this summer, we are able to offer a NEW SERVICE!

We are able to offer a limited number of places to parents who wish to wait at the venue whilst their child is in session.

During this time, we will be running 2 x Empowerment workshops (information sessions) and 1 x Wellbeing (relaxation and mental health support) session for parents/carers. Each day there will be a different workshop available. Further details coming soon.
